<p dir="auto">This movie altered my perception [far out] of Hugh Grant, who I formally believed to be nothing more than a stodgy and dithering leading man in bland romantic comedies, whether hailing from the UK or otherwise. I still think the BFI keeps him a cage in their cellar, though, opposite Colin Firth.<br />
