This was the first edition of the franchise that wasn't amazing in my opinion. Some fun deaths and good special effects but it can't compare. The fifth best in the series.

I agree. It's good and has some great moments (the cockroach scene is one of the greatest Nightmare on Elm Street kills), but I was disappointed Freddy went through all the remaining Dream Warriors so quickly and easily. It did make sense though that he used the divide and conquer technique, but still, after everything they went through in Part 3, I would've liked to have seen them do more.
So many stories, so little time.
