I have been re-watching The Dream Master, so my question is, can Freddy REALLY only get to the "new" kids through Alice? If so, she must sleep a lot! And she never called anyone into her dreams like Kristen did, so how does Freddy know who to kill and who her friends are?
In the previous films Freddy shows up in kids' dreams. And not only the kids' of parent's who burned him alive. Jesse's parent's never helped kill him. Also John Doe in part 6. I know some people say he's supposed to be Jacob, but the timeline doesn't make any sense because Jacob would only be 10. Not a teen.
If Kristen, Joey and Kincaid were the same age as Alice and her gang, couldn't it be possible their parents also helped burn Freddy?
Also, in Part 5, Alice has a bunch of new friends in school. Did they not know her previous friends like Kristen, Sheila and Debbie?
Sorry that always bugged me! Just reading how people are giving different theories.
