Notice how Kristen dies in NOES4. She's burned alive in the boiler room. Do you think this is how Freddy always intended for her to die?
Remember that Kristen's father, Officer Parker from NOES1 (very briefly mentioned after Glenn's death), likely had a hand in not only Freddy's arrest but also his murder. This would put Kristen HIGH on Freddy's hit list (just like Nancy Thompson). Sure, the parents of the neighborhood all did the deed but how many of them were there for the entire process (the investigation, the arrest, testifying at court, and then the murder). If I were Freddy, I'd give special attention to THESE Elm Street Children.
In NOES3, every chance Freddy gets, he seems to try to lure Kristen to the boiler room. He does this so much so that in NOES4, Kristen repeatedly checks the boiler room out of trauma from being lured there so many times. Could it be Freddy always intended for her to be the last, killing her the way her father killed him?

Officer Parker? You mean Officer Thompson. That was Nancy's father, not Kristen's.
