<p dir="auto">I accidentally happened upon the James Oliver Curwood story this film is based from my aunt's Reader's Digest Condensed Books collection, where the names of the bears are given, even though they weren't meantioned in the film adaptation: the grizzley is Thor, the cub Muskwa, and the female grizzly Thor mates with while Muskwa looks on is Iskwao.</p>
