When Leon's parents were in the car right before the accident, Pin was in the back seat and it looked like he sat up by himself. I was not sure if it was because of the sharp turn or something else. Was just wondering though

After seeing the rest of the movie I wondered if maybe Leon sneaked into the back of the car and controlled Pin. But if that was the case, his mom would've heard the door open and close. It definitely makes sense that it was in the dad's mind.
