What was the deal with Alice putting on her maid's uniform? I understand if Alice was going to stay there a while, she would need to help out. But I mean is Alice so submissive to the Bradys that she has to put her maid's uniform on again.

Well,in the Brady Bunch Movie the neighbors joked that Alice worked for free so she definitely would be indentured. Ha!

When they invited her to stay at the beginning of the movie, they said her room was just as she had left it. Presumably with her uniforms in the closet, which I assume she laundered and hung up on her last day.
As for why she wore it, there could be a slew of reasons. Like nostalgia for her career. Not wanting to get her own clothes dirty while working.

I wondered about that too, but I think since this was a reunion movie, old fans of the show would be used to seeing Alice in her maid's uniform. Or maybe would expect to see her wearing it.
