I fondly remember a segment on his show that featured 1950's Legendary Artist..
The Original and the Architect of Rock and Roll.Little Richard, who was Arsenio's musical and special guest.
It was during the interview with Little Richard when Arsenio Hall asks Little Richard this question.
ARSENIO: Let me asked Richard, are you married?
RICHARD: No.
ARSENIO: Are you single?
RICHARD: No.
ARSENIO: Do you have a girlfriend?
RICHARD: Yes I do and I'm not telling you.
ARSENIO: Who is your girlfriend anyway?
Then someone in the audience gets up and tells Arsenio upfront who it is..
AUDIENCE MEMBER: Yeah I know!
ARSENIO: Who?
AUDIENCE MEMBER: JAMES BROWN!!!
RICHARD: Shut Up!!!

I only remember a few things about this show since I was a little girl when this show was on. One of the things I vaguely remember was some rapper (or wannabe rapper) doing a song called "Kiss My Ass". I don't know if it was a joke or for real, but he and his background dancers were shouting "reach out and kiss my ass" over and over and there were cops chasing him around the studio trying to get him off the show. It's on a tape somewhere in my house lol.
