my friend and i were just enjoying Earth Girls Are Easy when we noticed the numerous PUns associated with the fly.did you guys notice?

  • when jeff goldblum leaves the tanning bed for the first time (Teleport scene)
  • JEff Goldblum's character plays the piano for Geena Davis just like he did in the fly
  • Obviously the jealous boyfriend/ex boyfriend (John gertz vs Charles Rocket)
    etc.

I like to think of this as the sequel to The Fly with a happy ending, a goofy what-if alternate version where all ends well (made particularly poignant when you knew Jeff and Gina would split up in just a few years 😞 ). Great light 80's entertainment.
