i get it. Riv played his son in M. Coast, but he was wrong here… Harrison Ford is the epitome of a brown haired dude… He has a very distinguished look…
Tho this wasn't worse than the SOLO guy… At least Riv could act…

It was Harrison Ford who recommended River Phoenix for the part. He said that of all the young actors working at the time, River Phoenix was the one who most resembled himself when he was that age.

They didn't look anything alike. It was a terrible casting choice from a likeness perspective. Josh Brolin would have been better.

My dad had dark hair (like me) and he had a blonde son. I have twin siblings and one was born blonde (hair is light brown now) and one had dark hair (he’s dead).
