<p dir="auto">The Hitler scene is kind of funny when you think about it. Hitler had the Grail Diary in his hand but he never realized it. Indy was of course terrified when he handed it to him in a state of fear and shock but fortunately for him Hitler just assumed it was an autograph book, signed it and handed it back to him.<br />
Also, didn't Hitler know what Indy looked like? I would think he would've seen intelligence pictures of him. He is after all the man who ruined his attempt to get the Ark of the Covenant two years earlier. And the Germans were looking for him and his father and the colonel and his Nazi friends were handing out pictures of him and his father at the airport.</p>

<p dir="auto">Hitler has "people" looking after the search for the Jones boys.  It was funny, and perfectly believable (IMHO)</p>
