In the mass lapd killings by the sood afrikaaans, they were banking a lot on vasquez (cant remember her lw2 character name) going swimming and entering the pool via the diving board.
Plus banking on the poker game guys turning on the stereo.
You could say they stalked them out but given the film takes place over only 3-4 days thats unlikely. Also why not put a bomb in riggs' trailer?
Nit-picking i know but just seems inefficient given the professionalism shown by the baddies throughout

Actually banking a lot on the host not turning on the stereo at some point during the day before the guests had arrived.
Also, Riggs's trailer was more suited than any other locale to place a bomb. The attack by helicopter routine doesn't make much sense. But, of course, the script called for those policemen to die, and for Riggs to live.
