Does anyone else find it funny that Rika van den Haas speaks with an English accent and not a Boer accent like the other South Africans in the movie? I know the actress is English but she's playing a character with an obvious Dutch name. Perhaps the producers decided to use this as a subtle way of showing that she's the "good one".

Even more striking was how often Gibson's Australian accent comes out. It's more than any other movie I can remember (excluding his Australian movies).
