Is this the movie where George Segal head explodes like a bomb?
Because about like 19 years I was watching this movie at a friend of my mother house. Theres this scean where Mollie is sitting down in her bosses Alfred played George Segal office, and she filling out some paper work and having a confesation with Alfred, and then after they were done talking having that chat. Alfred head starts to blow up like a bomb and shatters to pieces. The whole movie was duel and dicussing, and thin. But that part really cracked me up. I though he had died already after his head exploded.

Could that have been a satire on the scene in the movie Scanners where that guy's head explodes?

Thank you OP for bringing this up. When I was younger and seeing this film the first few times, I freaked at that part like it came out of nowhere. For a long time I wanted to avoid this movie at all cost because of that because it scared me. As I got older and this movie just simply fade away, one time out of the blue I came across this movie and I thought maybe there was no such thing as an exploding head. I questioned about this and someone told me "YES". So as an adult I tried to watch this movie again and get to this scene
I wasn't afraid anymore
