So Greta choked to death. But..how?
You don' just choke to death in your sleep, I assume. So even if she fell asleep at the table with food in her mouth, and it slid down her throat & got stuckshe'd wake instantly and flail around.
Why did no one see her do this??

No one cared enough. Her mother was a terrible parent and only paid attention to her to criticize her.
Plus, Freddy's powers kept her from waking up.
