Hi, I've watched LRF a couple of times but I never found where is Johann Wolfgang Goethe in this?
He is listed as one of the characters, but I haven't noticed any mention of him in the films. And yes I have watched both Annes Lumiere and Terribles.

David does make a brief appearance: as Marie Antoinette is going to her execution, we see David among the spectators, making the famous sketch of her sitting in the cart. Goethe, though, I don't remember at all.
Flat, drab passion meanders across the screen!

I don't think Goethe's in it, maybe a really brief cameo or something on the cutting room floor. I just can't see him in it if David wasn't in itand David actually had a large role in the Revolution.
