The French version was released on VHS years ago by Alliance Atlantis (the Canadian distributor). I looked up their website, and found a feedback form:

I don't know how, but some how my Humanities teacher got hold of the DVD's and we have to watch it in Class, in French, with no Subtitles. Its going to take a long time to finish
