What an underrated comedy. Roseanne was amazing in this as was Meryl Streep, handling the absurdist humor perfectly. I don't know why this is so low rated. There were some really smart jokes in there and the acting is on point. Ed Begley Jr is so good!

I love it too. Meryl Streep doing comedy is so excellent. I would say it's her best comedic role. She plays that uptight, priveledged woman so well.
Of course,
Roseanne & Ed Begley Jr are terrific. It's just cute and hilarious. I love this film !!

Agreed ! Very underrated movie, I enjoy it very much and watch the DVD every few months. If you haven't already seen it, please watch 'Death Becomes Her' too, you won't regret it ! 🙂
