In the Spring of '89 I was on the subway in NYC with my friend Caroline. Caroline was Chinese and gorgeous and was wearing her tights with a colorful global map print. There was a couple in the 2-seater part of the train canoodling. The woman said "I like your tights!' to my friend. She said 'thanks' and we realized it was Roseanne and Tom Arnold! She was shooting 'She Devil' in the city and I think it was the early days of she and Tom. She seemed deliriously happy.
