"I SAID STOP THAT!"
"I SAID MOVVVE!"
"I'M TAKING CONTROL OF MY LIFE!"
I lol'ed so hard in that scene, had to watch it twice. Meryl Streep is genius when acting like a deranged, hilarious, diva. I love her

That is funny. She tells them to stop dancing and partying, then she knocks the record player over to turn it off, then fires Garcia throwing something at him as he runs out. Next she tells Nicolette to go upstairs and take off her dress (it would fit her?) and when Nicolette tells her she isn't her mother she slaps Nicolette telling her to move. She then is dragging Andy to the door to get him upstairs cause he's grounded and at one point tells her mother to go sit down. The big joke is when Bob comes in and she drags Bob over to a seat and Andy is caught in between them so he never leaves. But when Andy throws up slightly after Mary finishes her rant, Mary says nothing, which I think is a little weird.

That was a great scene, especially the growl of 'I said move!'.
Jesus loves you, but only as a friend.

Yeah me too. I was 14 when I saw this movie for the first time. After she called Bob a bastard and slapped him, that's when the laughter didn't stop until after Andrew threw up on the floor. That's when I had to step out of the room for a second.
