Granted the hairpiece he wore looked like crap, but why would he not be credited?
I've only known an actor to not be credited if it's a huge star doing a cameo, or an actor in a very minor role.
He doesn't fall in to either of those.
My life fades the vision dims all that remains are memories

Regardless Geoffrey Lewis is great in anything he's done. So many movies he has small parts but he's great in them.

The crediting is for the most part done by the studios - or in the case of pre-IMDb existance titles often done by the actor's own representatives.
Perhaps his representatives has just neglected to add his name to the list.
Sometimes an actor is simply uncredited for no apparent reason. Case in point; actor Don Cheadle who mysteriously is uncredited for his role (Basher Tarr) in the first 'Oceans 11' (but has credit for both follow ups).
