I think it happened during the Saget era once, but I'm not sure.

Kid ones at least are sometimes funny (though often not) but the worst ones are stuff like marriage proposals and pregnancy announcements. Only time those have been funny is when like a kid gets super mad about the new kid or whatever.

Why is this show still on the air? It's obsolete. It's YouTube for people who still use camcorders.

The show is owned by Disney. The winners are going to be consistent with the image Disney wants to portray.

You could have the most amazing and hilarious video, but if I submitted a video of a kid cocking their head and smiling at the camera I would win. I only watch bits of this show because I turn on the TV for Once Upon a Time and it just amazes me how awful the winning videos always are. The only thing I can think of is that ABC doesn't want to get sued if someone dies trying to create a video for the show. That's the only thing that makes sense here.
Oh, and the other week two grown men squealed like little metrosexuals at a San Francisco coffee shop while trying to catch a spider. It still wasn't especially funny but I think the audience voted for it because it DIDN'T star a cute kid.

I remember one video that won was about a sign adverting a church being next to a sign that advertised an adult video store. IIRC it beat out a video about a dog and a video about a kid.

Nope the one I just watched a bunch of frat guys won, beat out a kid, even though the kids singing "Sweet Caroline" was much funnier.

totally agreed. Some kid dose something cute/kidish & it wins while the audience laughs their asses off.

At first, when the show first started. We had really, really funny videos that won. Now, I agree, it's too many unfunny stupid kids that keep winning it.
