I picked up on this on the Classic Film Board:
http://imdb2.freeforums.net/
Its creator calls it a clone of IMDB. I just looked at it, and it looks promising.
I think I'm going to join. Hope to see you all there !
SPREAD THE WORD !

I might try imdb 2.0, but for now, I hang out at
http://forums.previously.tv
Since they're shutting down here, I'm tempted to post ban-worthy stuff.
But there are enough lunatics doing that already, and it's just not a pretty look.

You're very welcome. Like you, I don't do Facebook either.
I've talked to a lot of people on a lot of boards, and there seems to be interest.
Other than learning how to navigate the place, the biggest drawback I see is that various SUBJECTS/TOPICS are not set up for us.
We'll have to CREATE a
Law & Order
thread under GENERAL TV, for example. Then, bookmark and return there to chat.
If enough people participate, I think it could work.
What do we have to lose?
((I feel like I'm rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic !
))

Thanks so much for this information!! I am so unhappy about the discontinuation of the message boards! I only post intermittently, but I enjoy reading posts, and often get information from them that isn't elsewhere. I'm not on Facebook or anything else and have no desire to join, so the loss of the message boards would leave me without access to discussions and This site looks like it may fill some of the gaps left by this change on IMDB, and maybe even offer some other benefits. Thanks, again!!
