Knowing nothing about police business other than that gathered from fictional mysteriesI've noticed Jane has a new team in (I believe) every season? I know her character had many personality issues, but would that be normal in police business?
Do you think the series was written like this to accentuate her personality and how she struggled with opposition? Could they simply not get the same cast season after season? Maybe the producers didn't want us to follow her story more than any of the other cast, so a new team each season would make Jane stand out and be more familiar (and therefore more revered). It always kind of drove me nuts, personally!
