Did anyone else love the theme song for this show as much as I did? It's still the most memorable part of the show for me . . . though other recollections are returning.
Also, does anyone know if this is or will be on any channel, any time, at all? It must have been rerun once already, as I was only 5 when it ended and could never recall that far back.
Thanks for reading, and if you have any info, thanks for that as well.
~Sarah, loyal Thomas fan

Yep love the both opening and end theme songs for the show, and yes I do realize it has been almost 10 years later after this post. And I agree with newgeorgiarr it is a shame since it is still a great show. But you can still find episodes on Youtube, not sure if it has ever been released on dvd, and I am not sure about a lot of kids show make it to dvd, but you can always check http://www.amazon.com , or even http://www.tvshowsondvd.com to see if it is possible on a release on this show on dvd. And PBS are the only non cable station that airs Children's shows, and even say another Non cable station that wants to air this show, and still air commericals they would have to edit the show done a bit to show commericals in a half hour since the show's running time is 28 minutes, and that would really be a shame.

Well, there is a longer version with a second verse, if you look around. I found it on LimeWire.

I loved that theme song, too. Just yesterday I listened to the soundamerica clip and picked it out on the piano. I've been playing that awesome intro every time I pass the piano. The theme sounds a bit somber instrumentally with those minor chords and whatnot, but then the chorus gets more cheerful.
What's my one complaint regarding the theme song? Too short.

"Do

Yay! Another reason to be mad! (As if I needed one, heehee.) But that sucks. Heck, I was barely old enough to remember the original run, so it must have rerun at least once. I wonder why they won't run it again . . .
~Sarah
(On a better note, I have the theme memorized now! I can even picture the visuals . . . )

Don't believe it will ever be shown on tv again which is a real shame becuase it was a really good show. As for the theme song i agree that it was definetly one of the most memorable parts of the show. I wish they had the full versiohn that played during the credits. Hope this helps
