is Shining Time Station's connection with Thomas the Tank Engine? (I'm not familiar with this show at all as I live in England, but Thomas has been around almost forever over here!)
Is this show to blame for the 'Thomas and the Magic Railroad' film bearing virtually no resemblance at all to the original Thomas books and later TV series?

"Shining Time Station" had short stories that was included with the show a little conductor man would appear to the kids and he would them tell the story about Thomas and his engine friends.
