I thought it was a fantastic movie and Eric Roberts really worked in the lead role.

Can you blame him? This wasn't exactly a good movie by any stench of imagination and in my opinion I've always thought that they should of cast Bruce Campbell in the lead instead of Eric Roberts considering that I feel that Bruce was the only actor who could of made this movie work better then it did.

Yeah. He was on Celebrity Rehab recently and apparently was quite the coke head earlier in his career. He seems wasted in this entire movie. Maybe it was just to add to the comedic effect, but it's fair to assume he wasn't that sober in reality either.
