Good afternoon, maniacs. A great movie of Larry Cohen's, The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover, is in dire need of a DVD release. It's available on VHS but is rather hard to come by. It is Larry's favorite movie that he's done and he'd really like for it to be out on DVD to open up a new audience to it as well as for fans of the film to own it on that format. As a fan, friend, & admirer of Larry and his work, I'd like to help him accomplish this goal. Here's where we come in. We need to convince Sony that they need to put this movie out on DVD. It's received pretty good reviews and has a good bit of fans. I don't see why it isn't out yet.
Anyway, here's what we do: we email Mr. David Bishop at Sony Home Entertainment telling him that we'd like to see this classic out on DVD. Email Mr. Bishop at david_bishop@spe.sony.com.
