For anyone who may have missed this (I almost did), a company called Big Finish Productions has been producing audio dramas and dramatic readings that continue the Dark Shadows storylines. Although these productions are for the original 1966-1971 TV series and feature a lot of cast members from that series, they have also featured some cast members from the 1991 series.
Most recently, the wonderful
Joanna Going
who played Victoria Winters and Josette Dupres in the 1991 series, delivered a magnificent performance as a young Laura Murdoch Stockbridge in a special 50th anniversary production entitled
BLOOD & FIRE

). The storyline takes place in 1767 and for my money serves just as well as a prequel in the 1991 series universe as it does in the original series one. I highly recommend it.

It would be amazing if they could gather up as many of the 1991 cast as possible and pick up where the cliffhanger left off and give us a fitting conclusion to this great series.
