<p dir="auto">Their chemistry was electric in this series.  I thought Going made Victoria more interesting and stronger than Moltke's version. Ben Cross did a great job in keeping Barnabas tortured yet dangerous.</p>

<p dir="auto">I agree! They did her a disservice by making her seem so stupid. Her screen time would've been cut down to a third if she had never said "I don't understand". They definitely made up for that in 1991. Joanna Going's Victoria came off much smarter.</p>

<p dir="auto">As Moltke was a good actress, I never understood the direction of her characters by the directors.  And she should have had villianous character written for her, she would have shined.<br />
