Who is James Ubriacco (John Travolta) referring to when he says "Travis Bickle moves in with a semi-automatic weapon and it's okay"?

Yeah he is comparing Stuart to Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver, I never saw the movie until 2006 and I made the connection then either, sadly James is stupid because not all gun owners are dangerous and anyone can own a gun and have it in the same house with little children, it just has to be properly locked up and secured with the safety on and hidden from them, Stuart was just a foolish guy and aimed it at anyone without thinking and that's why James did not like him having it because he was too jumpy and eager to point it at anyone that walked in, this ironically saved the kids when the burglar showed up though, but Stuart left the kids alone to chase after him and that was foolish.

Je's referring to Robert De Niro's character "Travis Bickle" in Taxi Driver(1976) which is about a cab driver in New York who goes on a killing spree - basically to re-emphasise his point that Mollie's brother shouldn't have a gun in the house ;oD
