I like how they made no attempt to remotely make the characters the same as the first movie! I mean Bastian's dad in the first movie was an older, bald guy probably in his 50's and now he's in his 30's and hot? The childlike empress now has curly hair. Atreyu is a little indian boy. Falkor has bright red eyes? And not even the voices of the characters are remotely the same! And why is Bastian afraid of heights, when he was FLYING around with Falkor not that long ago. IT's like they didn't even try!

this movie was garbage. It was missing all the charm and majestic feeling of the first one.
The first one took itself, the plot and the character seriously and there was suspense and it is a pretty dark movie.
the second one is more silly, Bastian is nothing like the sweet kid of the first one (It doesn't matter if you grow up or not, This Bastian reminded me of the bullies from the first one) Bastian was mean, he was rude to Atreyu,
Bastian was so arrogant in the second one, he was rude, He was not humble at all I couldn't stand it
Also Atreyu in the first one was a warrior child and he was serious and he had to do a lot in the first one. In this one he was sweet and friendly and smiled all the time.
It was almost like the director and the writer SWITCHED personalities between Bastian and Atreyu it was awful.
