He fell off the radar after this show, and even when Step by Step was airing, he only had one other credit during that time period (1991-1998).
I'm surprised he didn't have a more successful career in the 1990's, he was pretty funny.

Hollywood has not been interested in the kids on this show after it ended or vice versa. Christopher Castile (Mark) and Josh Byrne (Brendan) have done NOTHING since Step by Step. Angela Watson (Karen) only has a short and a stright to video credit post Step by Step. Emily Mae Young (Lily) only has three credits total, and nothing since 1999.
But Staci Kenan (Dana), who was famous before Step by Step (star of the sitcom My Two Dads with Paul Reiser) still sppears to be working. And Christine Lakin (Al), for whom Step by Step was the second thing she ever did, has been working extensivley since Step by Step. She's only 37 and already has more than 100 credits!

I think he's just one of those guys that decided he wanted to live a normal life. He started acting quite young, so maybe he never took it too seriously, grew tired of it and moved on. I miss him though. I thought he was quite funny too.
