<p dir="auto">This dad was just terrible. It was like he couldn't wait to get away from his kids. Every time his daughter tried to talk to him, he'd rather watch tv or drink a beer. Then, when he's totally incapacitated by the Crites for most of the movie, it's up to his daughter to do most of the actual heroics. It's really his daughter and Leo Dicapario who save the day.<br />
I laughed at the end when Josh's mother thanks the dad for what he did for her son. And I was just thinking, "What?! The dad is the one who owe's his life to Josh."<br />
So many stories, so little time.</p>
