Kind of. On my VHS tapes, there's an ad for the boxed set and they show clips from all the movies. There's one of Doc and until I looked at the background I couldn't tell if it was him or Kincaid.

This was the first Elm Street film I saw in theaters and I was 11 or 12 and yes, I too thought it was Kincaid.
