Freddy's Dead:The Final Nightmare is my third favorite in the franchise with the original being at the top place followed by Part IV:The Dream Master and I never really understood any of the hatred of the film like I don't understand the hatred of any of the Elm Street films yes including the remake.
To me Freddy's Dead is a true highlight of the franchise if it we're possible and is needing of more respect.
Freddy's Dead:The Final Nightmare features a wonderfully bizarre tone throughout the whole film.
Freddy's Dead also has a plot structure that the original and Part 4 has where it's basically two films split into one the first act serves as a John Doe story than the 2nd act serves as a Maggie story.
I liked the characters they are much stronger than the ones in Part III(Still a amazing film).
This film also has a improved Freddy than Part 5.
This film is all the way around a great film.
Guns are for pussies,Real men use fist.

It's my 3rd favorite too. First the first one then New Nightmare then this one. I've always love this one because we learn more of Freddy's backstory. Plus the fact he had a kid.

This is the absolute perfect ranking of Freddy movies followed by no other films. Fans seems to love Dream Warriors but I always thought it was cheap looking and had downright unoriginal death scenes which Dream Master and Final Nightmares did with honors.
