So they defeat Freddy by pulling him out of dream world and then killing him in the real world where he's much less powerful. Didn't they use that same method in the first Nightmare on Elm St movie, where Nancy gets Freddy out of dream world and deals with him in the real world?

This movie caters to the douchebag casual that thinks Nancy's house is Freddy's house because they are only paying attention to 3,4 and 5 but yet think that Freddy got killed the same way by being pulled into the real world in every single movie in the series because they are only paying attention to the original
