Hello.
Just watched this great movie again. It's been more than five years since my vhs copy gave up and now I got the chance to see it again. Still great and entertaining. I love how they use all those clichs and for once make them work as they should. Great fun.
Anyway. At the second shoot out scene with those trenchcoat baddies I got a revelation. They're Syndicate agents!
No really they're not. But they sure look like it.
Yup, definitely! When I saw them the first time I immediately thought: hey, the look like a group of Syndicate agents!

Haha, so I wasn't the only one then who spotted the similarity. I have to agree, the trenchcoat guys bear a striking resemblance to the Syndicate agents from Syndicate and Syndicate Wars which, to the uninitiated, are two of the greatest releases from the late video game developer Bullfrog. Every time I watch this flick, I can almost hear those guys shout "Uzi", or "Minigun" or "Persuadetron".

Haha, agreed. My brother often talks about it, and I thought the Syndicate series was before this movie, till I checked it up on Wiki. Great games. Still have the Megadrive/Genesis conversion, and used to have Syndicate Wars which I miss.
Seriously though, these 'pussies' wouldn't stand a chance against Eurocorp's agents, but at least they indeed look the part. =P
