Agree. Somehow I can't help but think that that gun already had a "reputation" if you get my drift.

The gun was taken off a guy during a robbery. Sometimes robbers commit more than one crime.

THAT'S FUNNY YOU SAID THAT. They hated each other during the making of the movie. There was a lot of "prom Queen Drama" between Mickey Rourk and Don Johnson on the set. I remember reading that it was constant struggle to work with them. They bickered with each other constantly about every little thing.I think it showed in the way they engaged with each other. Watch the hug goodbye at the end.

Yeah there'e no way to link the gun to the attempted robbery, besides the cops probably wouldn't care that he took the gun since he pretty much stopped the morons who tried to rob the place. and the gun he got from Denver was already his, he says that was the gun he used to practice with which was why he was such a bad shot. AND he didn't force Marlbouro to jump, that was one of the few options they had to escape and Marlbouro jumped after Harleytada!

No no no no no no! That gun was not used in a robbery - it was an attempted robbery. And even if it were an actual robbery, the cops would have nothing to link it to - because they wouldnt even have the gun!!!

i could see harley not liking marlboro. he gave him a gun that was used in a robbery on his birtday. then he buy a brand new bigger, nicer gun for himself in denver. he also shoots marlboro in the arm. he forces him to jump off a building, and punches him before he does it.

LOL! Come on, those guys had obviously never successfully robbed anybody. Harley knew it and took em both out! Just remember that move he does with the first guy if someone is pointing a gun at youthe unsuspecting armbar. They'll never see it coming.
