I think, after re-watching this last week, that he actually would have. It would have obviously been FASCINATING to him, not just to see a continuation of his story, but also to see how it was, in a way, BELIEVABLY (in that world) brought about. As in, the timeline all works out. Wendy would have been the age she is in 1991, etc. Super fascinating if you're a Pan nut, I imagine. I think he would have loved everything about it, especially the music and the emotions and the detailed plot behind everyone's pasts and how it comes about in the future.
Thoughts?

I think he would have liked the scene where Peter gets his memory back and flies up over Neverland. Possibly the very end of the movie as well. But the main plot, no.

HE'D HATE IT.
It completely negates the point of Peter Pan! The boy who can't grow up!

I don't think he would've liked it at all, in addition to the changes to the source material I also don't think he would've found it particularly flattering that the movie would actually go out of its way and say that the story of Peter Pan isAn actual story in the world of the film and that Barrie himself didn't exactly originate it( That pretty much discredits him as being a wildly imaginative writer and also doesn't respect the actual family who influenced his writing on the original text).
