I haven't seen the original, nor have I read the book, but there seems to be some very informed discussions going on here about this movie. Usually, there are just some pointed barbs aimed at those who understand a movie from those who don't. There are two things about this movie that make it distract me from the action and they are both frivolous points but I would like to know what other people think.

Why did they dub Sean Young's voice when she was Dorie? It was incredibly distracting and I don't think it served to make the sisters seem like 2 distinct people.

What was that thing hanging off the back of Sean Young's hair at the nape of her neck? It looked like part of a coonskin cap. I realize this was right around the time of the rattail hairdo, but this thing doesn't even look like that.
Thanks for letting me vent and I'll be interested to hear what y'all think.
And you sittin' there waitin' for him, just like a spider.
