I just watched it for the first time in YEARS. I always enjoyed this movie. It's simply fun to watch.

I think that it is an okay Movie.

I like him in almost everything else.
However, Robin Hood is an English hero and has all the best qualities of an English person. That's being smart, witty, and brave.
You can't have some American playing him.

Not Costner's best performance, I agree.

I like Kevin Costner but an American Robin Hood is bizarre.
I recall it falling flat with me due to Kevin's bland personality. I like that in other rolls but Robin Hood is typically witty.
Also, as I recall, there's a "black guy" in it and so that was the beginning of the woke bullshit. British people were lucky they even knew what black people were in that time period.
