Was Gaines really a drug dealer?
Maybe I missed something. Help me out.
Walker says Gaines only deals with people from Houston or something along those lines. Gaines tells Jason Patric: "Do you think I'm stupid?". But, we never see Gaines actually with drugs or dealing drugs unless I'm wrong.

I think he was, but there was no way he was ever going to sell to them, since he only sold to people he knew.
