I was wondering if the scene with Jennifer in the phone booth was an anachronism or not.

The touch dial phone was introduced in the late 1960's. So yes it works.

I have to agree about wozencraft. She ruined many lives. The phone booth thing did happen if that is what you are talking about, but I don't see why they would need to find a rotary phone for such a small detail.

The radio station said "1974, when Babe Ruth's record got shattered" blah blah blah.
I figured it was an oldie's rock station playing a block of classic rock from 1974 and so they inserted little facts like that in it. But eh.

I'm watching it right now, and at the beginning it said it was 1974. Then there was a new year's thing going to 1975.
Touch tone phones were around then, but I don't know how prevalent they were.

Did the movie specifically say 1975? Because if they did, that's a major break from the real-life facts. Most of this stuff would have taken place in 1978/9. The raids on the clubs of the alleged drug dealer (Gregg Allman) didn't happen until 1979, for sure.
I refuse to pay to see this movie; I was living in Tyler when this all went down, and several of my friends were sent to jail simply for being at a nightclub while not rich. Rich patrons with drugs in their possession were let go as soon as they told the cops, "My Daddy is so 'n' so," while poorer ones who had never touched drugs were put in the wagons.
And that they were put there over lies?
What these two cops did is unconscionable.
Here's the worst of them messing things up so badly: The people arrested who were drug dealers got their charges thrown out just like the innocent people's, because the violations of rights were so egregious that even Texas courts couldn't ignore them. Everyone, criminal and not, walked. In Texas, where the courts execute people who are proved to be innocent.
Wolzencroft doesn't deserve to be walking free, much less profiting from the anguish she caused for so many innocent people. I hope the bitch gets what's coming to her someday.

There were push-button telephones in 1975 if we're talking about the same thing.
