I can't stand her!
I'm glad Mrs. Slocombe tried to defend herself against that woman's snobbish insults, like telling her to "get stuffed" and calling her a tart, lol!
Just an observation..Did anyone else like her character or not?

In the scene where they did that Spring Dance inside the manor, she was dressed as some kind of maiden and I thought she was beautiful in that outfit.
Like others, I was turned off by her snobbishness but allowed they had to introduce some kind of tension to pep things up. I too, gradually got to like her.

I didn't like her in the beginning either, but as the poster above me said, I also grew to like her as the show went on

I didn't like the character at the beginning, when she was obviously portrayed as a stuck-up posh tart who befriended an elderly wealthy man and was now cashig in on being part of his will. However, as the series developed, Miss Lovelock softened and became one of the gang, helping them out in their plans and schemes, like helping to convince Mr. Slocombe (who wanted to buy the manor) that there were more workers on the farm than there really were, and trying to resuce the lambs that were going to be put to slaughter. I actually grew to quite like her in the end!!
p.s. plus she was gorgeous in those bike leathers!!!
