I started a poll at AVPG to see if fans would be willing to see Alien 3 The Assembly Cut in a theater re-release. With much enthusiasm MANY would LOVE to see it in theaters according to my poll.
I've also requested Flashback Cinemas to bring the Assembly Cut version of Alien 3 back into theaters. They play all the oldies at AMC, Goodrich Quality Theaters etc. Flashback Cinemas just recently re-released Aliens in theaters which I saw here at my local theater here in town. Everyone in the theater I talked to after Aliens ended said they would come back to see Alien 3 in the theater again, "If it is the re-edited special edition version" they would say.
I have physical proof and digital proof from others that many would love to see Alien 3 The Assembly Cut in theaters which just justifies the reason why people love it over the Theatrical Cut so much more. BRING THIS OLDIE BACK INTO THEATERS!!
