<p dir="auto">What i mean is its easily one of his strongest and most memorable roles.  I wouldnt say Taxi Driver is Deniros best movie (actually i would but that would be debated by many people) but its his most memorable role and his one of his most intense roles.  Thats how this movie is for Keitel, i bet he occasionally lies in bed at night and thinks, "wow i went to a really dark place in bad lieutenant".  It might not be his best role (I would say it is but again im sure many people would debate that) but its the role ill always remember him for.</p>
