<p dir="auto">This biopic depicts the birth of his tramp character on the set of a film in which he is chased around the room by a group of rich people. As far as I know, the first two films to feature the tramp character were Mabel's Strange Predicament and Kid Auto Races at Venice. His first film appearance was Making a Living in which he wore a different outfit.<br />
So was the movie in this film ficticious? This film does show a lot of real Chaplin pictures.</p>
