<p dir="auto">Also, it seems to me that each of the subsequent women/girls he fell for reminded him in some way or another of Hetty(exception would probably be Paulette Goddard) almost as if he were trying to recreate his love for the "one that got away/one true love" he had with her.<br />

<p dir="auto">I found it too gimmicky and distracting more than anything else, even if they had some reason to do it, and even though she was fine in both roles.</p>

<p dir="auto">Oona reminded him of his first love so they cast Kelly to play both parts so that the audience could see that resemblence and understand the reason why he was so taken by her.</p>
