That might be true if they're only in it for the sex. A trans I knew, who was post-op, she would often date guys that didn't know about her. The reason was somewhat obvious because they saw her as a lady and not a tranny freak, and it was much easier. She went out with her Verizon guy and then some other guys she met at random. Unless someone has a t-shirt saying "Hey I'm a tranny-chaser. Date Me" you would never know so you would have to search them out and vice versa. Incredibly even many who are pre-op told me they only date men who don't know they're trans for the reasons mentioned above.

Sometimes this happens in real life because British model, and transsexual, Tula, married two men who didn't know about her at first. She had the operation, though, when she met them. Not having it may have been a deal breaker.
